The Orthodox procession of the cross in Ridder takes place every year. This year it was held on 1 June and brought together many pilgrims from all over Kazakhstan.
The participants walked from the town to Klimovka Recreation Base, home to a wooden Orthodox church. Prayer services were held along the way, and at the base itself a hot lunch and a well-earned rest awaited the guests.
